Bolnišnica Lipa SO 55 was a common name for at least 6 bunkers in the area of Šmiklavž and Graške Gore. They were equipped by Dr. Kopač, later managed by Dr. Slokan. After his departure, they were run by veterinarian Anton Kovač until the end of the war. The central bunker was located in a grove south of the ruins of the city of Vodriž. Here, the head nurse of the hospital, political commissar, economist, and two couriers had their base, as well as a storage facility for medical supplies.
Due to continuous battles between partisan brigades and the Germans, it was necessary to secure more collection points for the wounded. Thus, five reception centers were established in the Podgorski forests with their center at Lipa SO 55. The commissar was Jože Petrič. Wounded partisans were transported across Dobrava to Pavčkove hospitals on Pohorje.

V Šmiklavžu pri Mostnarju zavijemo desno, takoj nato levo mimo Dirjenka proti Burcu. Od table Dirjenk peljemo 1,6 km v hrib Burc do drugega parkirišča. Pri lovski preži zavijemo levo in po 10 minutah pridemo do razpotja. Tu zavijemo desno nvzdol do bolnice.(cca 200 m).
