Vojašnica na Bohinjski Beli, nekoč poimenovana po Andreju Žvanu - Borisu, je
in memory of this national hero on 10th July 1977, on the 34th anniversary of the founding
of Prešeren's brigade, unveiled his bronze figure, a work of the autumn academic sculptor Jakob Torkar, cast in bronze in the foundry of Železarne Jesenice.
The same sculptor also made Žvan's profile relief, which was placed at the entrance
to the military museum.
At the time, the statue stood on a massive marble slab at the second location in the military museum.
Today, the slab with the base is smaller.
