In the middle of July (1961 - note by D. Divjak) they also discovered the memorial to the fallen fighters and victims of fascist violence in Bohinjska Bela. From this village and nearby areas, 32 people fell during the NOB. The memorial stands on the expanded and renovated road through the village, and has the shape of a monolith.

The memorial was designed by architect Anton Bitenc, and was made by Kamnoseštvo Ljubljana. The installation was led by the district committee of ZZB NOV Radovljica. The unveiling took place in 1956, and the local organization ZB NOV Bohinjska Bela restored it on 16th July 1961.
