Franc Rozman - Stane, Vojašnica Celje

Srbski academic sculptor soldier Miroljub Kostić (1948–2019) immediately after graduation
served his military service at the military barracks of Franca Rozmana Staneta in Maribor, in the complex
of the former Cadet School. At that time, he created two sculptures for his own and another municipal military barracks.
On the celebration of the Day of the Rising on 18th July 1974, in the park of the barracks
Kostić installed his full-scale, more than three metres high sculpture of this national
hero Franca Rozmana Staneta (1912–1944), made of reinforced concrete. A stone with the engraved name of the depicted person
was placed next to the sculpture.

In 2020, the barracks in Celje celebrated the seventh anniversary of being named after this
commander, and on this occasion, a memorial park was arranged, to which the Maribor sculpture was transferred. It was unveiled on 26th March 2021, on the anniversary of Rozman's birth.
