Dijak of Tekstilne šole Kranj

Gradišnik, says: «I believe that this plaque is for the fallen students of the Kranjska tekstilna šola [Kranjska Textile School] at the former location in the old part of the city (the building, where the ZVKDS is now), which was later replaced by the current plaque at the entrance to the textile school on Primskovem, opened on 2 August 1958. In Gorenjski glas [Gorenjski Glašilo] from 1951 there is a brief mention of the discovery of this plaque, so the year matches, and the wording is also similar to the present one. However, the plaque from 1951 and the current one are successors of the original, which was somewhat improvised and was discovered already on 26 June 1945.»

Saša Šest 10. 6. 2024: «I came across a gentleman who was in the building, so that I could ask him about the plaque, but he knew nothing about it, so that it had never even existed there. He called another employee, if anyone knew about it, and also didn't, so we came to the conclusion that it was removed long before by those who were in the building before ZVKDS.»
