Jožko Berden, born on February 20, 1915 in Stellton, USA, where his parents emigrated before the First World War. After the war, he attended a civic school in Ljutomer and then a technical construction school in Ljubljana. He worked in road management in Ljutomer. He was connected to NOG by Ivan Nemec-Vojko in 1843. He participated in mobilizing money, sabotage actions, and establishing workers' councils OF. In October 1944, he became a member of the local council OF for the Ljutomersko area. On February 3, 1945, during a confrontation with fascists at Ignac Žalik's in Logarova, he was mortally wounded in the head. After the battle, the fascists dragged, hanged, and threw his body into a deep ravine in Globec. His corpse was found by locals only when the water level in the stream had dropped, still young. He is buried on a cemetery in Križevci near Ljutomer.
The memorial plaque was unveiled by Pioneer group Jožko Berden OŠ Ivan Cankar in Ljutomer on May 15, 1960.

Po cesti iz Ljutomera v naselju Noršinci desno ( smerokaz ) proti naselju Babinci, mimo športnega igrišča na levi strani naprej mimo kapelice do križišča, kjer se zavije desno proti enonadstropni hiši Gradič Obreza, kvadratni podeželski hiši, ki izstopa iz okolja -Babinci 35.
