Francu Osojniku (1900-1942), who in April 1942 with Jožet Lack organized
the Ptujski vod (Slovenskogoriško or Lackovo četo), the first partisan unit in
the eastern part of Slovenia. As a fighter of NOB, he fell in Krčevina near Vurberg.
In RKD, the place of the plaque is incorrectly marked at the entrance to the village.
The memorial plaque was made by the stonecutter Gaiser from Ptuja at the order of the Union of NOB fighters. It was unveiled on 9 May 1949.
