Dušan Mravljak was already a sympathizer of the KP (Communist Party) before the war and participated in advanced student movements. After the occupation, he immediately joined the national liberation movement and on April 19, 1942, entered NOV (National Liberation Army). In May of the same year, with the II group detachment, he arrived in Styria and became a member of the staff and medic in the Pohorje Battalion. He fell on Osankarica on January 8, 1943. He was decorated with the rank of National Hero.
Božo Mravljak-Bombi was a Spanish fighter and organizer of resistance in Šaleška, Mislinjska, and Savinjska valleys. The relief is Ivan Napotnik's work.
