Area where three partisans fell during World War II; Granit commemorative feature in the form of an irregular pyramid (113 cm x 105 cm x 23 cm) with a red five-pointed star on top and embedded red-colored inscription. Author: unknown.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: The commemorative feature was erected in memory of the following fallen partisans:

Luka Svetelj-Alojz, born October 18, 1900 in Šenčurje, an activist of the OF, after his arrest was imprisoned in Kranjska prisons. On June 14, 1943, he was shot by the Gestapo near this feature.

Alojz Snedic-Bor, born June 25, 1912, joined the III Kranjska Detachment at the end of 1943. Due to his evasion, he was captured and shot on this area on May 19, 1944.

Janez Šenk, born December 19, 1911, as a 44-year-old partisan of Kokrškega Detachment, was captured, tortured, and executed in Domobran prisons at Zlatem polju in Kranj (op.: vojašnica team "Alarmkompanie Oberkrainer Selbstschutz"). The Domobrans had already buried the dead on January 20, 1945, near Bobovka, where he was secretly interred in an unmarked grave.

The commemorative feature was installed by the District Council of ZB NOV Kokrica and was discovered in 1968.

In 2018, the memorial was renovated, and in January 2019, it was vandalized with a red star.
