Boris Vinter (February 19, 1925) was the commander of the 1st Battalion of the Pohorje Brigade and
the commander of the Šlandrova Brigade. He fell on the Menina mountain range as the youngest
partisan commander at the age of 20.

He is also the namesake of the choir. In the Zreška cultural events (2013), on page 42 it is written that
the society or choir was initially named after Boris Wintar.
He is also the namesake of the street Borisa Vinterja.
