Party member has been a member since 1932, when he enrolled at the Medical Faculty in Ljubljana. He was able to attract large crowds and led many regional and municipal conferences of SKOJ. Under the illegal name Silvo, he organized NOB in Styria. On October 30, 1941, he encountered a Gestapo group in Celje and Šoštanj woman Olga Štraus, who betrayed him. On December 19, 1941, he was sentenced as a communist leader and was shot on the walls of the court in Maribor in March 1942. Source: Commemorative monuments of NOB in the municipality of Šoštanj.
