Concentration Camp Alatri - Le Fraschette Alatri (Frosinone) - Italy

All transfers to the concentration camp Fraschette took place between the end of 1942 and the month of March 1943. However, one exception was the "relatives of the resisters", who were interned in the municipality of Penne, in the province of Pescara, and the internment started in Alatri on 10 July 1943. It concerns 22 people (5 families), probably from the town of Kastav.
In Penne, they were accommodated in the premises of the former ushnjarne Cantagallo, although the building requires urgent repairs. At first it seems
that the ministry of internal affairs approved the expenses. But clearly something was wrong. And so, a year after arriving in Lazio, they also transferred the civilists, who had been interned in Penne.
In short, at least a thousand "relatives of the resisters" from the so-called province of Carnaro were likely interned in Alatri.
This must be added to the 405 interned women who came directly
from the temporary camp of Lovran (Laurana).
In fact, in November 1942 the prefect of Reke Temistocle Testa wanted to close that camp (Lovran op. D. D.), and therefore ordered that 350 interned women, who were still present, be sent directly to Fraschette Alatri. On 1 December 1942, 231 interned women left (see AC00465 and AC00466). The remainder, together with new arrivals, left in two groups: 77 people on 18 February 1943, and the remaining 97 three days later (see AC00507 and AC00456).
For a total of 405 people

The final document states that on 26 January 1943, 46 Slovenian interned women arrived in Frosinone, who had been sent on to the concentration camp Fraschette di Alatri (see AC00139).

However, we do not know whether these are the same people who had already been interned in Ponte in Valtellini (needs verification) (insert Buffarinijev's order regarding transfer to Fraschlette).
