On 10 January 1945 the Germans, together with the Collotti gang, discovered the VDV bunker and killed three partisans inside it; the fourth died in the Rižarni. Among the dead was also the national hero Dušan Munih – Darko
The memorial plaque in Boršt was unveiled on 25 April 1970.
