Author of the memorial and initiator of the placement is comrade Serafin Turk, born in 1933 in Pobegov.
For editing, care is taken by the Association ZB Pobegi.
The memorial is composed of roughly shaped pieces of grey stone, in the middle is a black granite plate with inscription and a red star. It was unveiled on 4. 7. 1976 in memory of the fighter of the Komanda Mesta Koper command, Karlu Božiču - Juretu.
