A stone plate with a relief portrait of Edvard Kardelj from 1979 was
installed after Kardelj's death and removed in 2008 or 2010. Peter Skoberne
published its photograph in the book Triglav in the collection Kulturni in
naravni spomeniki Slovenije, 1987. The manager at TNP Sašo Hrovat does not
remember whether the vandalism by "an unknown perpetrator" was reported to
the police or not, and he assumes that the plate, due to its weight, was not
taken down to the valley, but was thrown away somewhere nearby.

Plošča je bila na skali ob t. i. Kardeljevi koči (Stara Fužina 240) nad Malim poljem. Hiša stoji ob markirani poti od Vodnikove koče proti Mišeljski dolini.
