Dane pri Sežani

A stone obelisk stands on the pedestal in the park of the settlement. It is surrounded by ornamental shrubs. Access to the monument is through lower double iron gates across two steps and a sandy path. The monument is surrounded by a low fence made of iron pipes, which are in four pillars 15 x 15 cm in size, 48 cm in height and 175 cm in width, which in the lower part with horizontal bands lying on the ground limit the paved part with sand. The lower part of the monument is 80 cm wide and 35 cm high, continuing in the upper part with slopes into a stone block with sides 53 cm and height 60 cm. On this are inscribed the names and surnames, as well as the years of birth and death of the victims. On the upper part there are four stone cubes 10 x 10 cm in size and 7 cm in height, which carry the upper part of the monument, 44 cm wide and 115 cm high, with conical shapes. On it, above, there is a red star and below a inscription. Inside the low fence there are two lower palms and to the right in front a tall shrub.

It was erected on 20. 10. 1946 according to the idea of architect Vladimir Ravbar.

The money for it was collected by the inhabitants themselves and they took care of its installation.
