The monument stands on a stone pedestal at the edge of the grassy yard in front of the building
Administrative unit Ribnica, formerly "old community". In 1961, the Municipal Board of ZZB
NOV Ribnica, in honor of the day of women and the anti-fascist activities of women in
the fishing community, erected and unveiled the monument "Preplah", which represents a mother with
child in her arms. The academic sculptor Lojze Dolinar (1893-1970) depicted the mother with the child
in the moment of air raid attack. The sculpture was created by the author in 1947.
In the past, the guardian was the Municipal Assembly of Ribnica.
