Monument was unveiled on 9 May 1986. In the group of 88 on the cemetery, at least 73 Yugoslav citizens were buried, who were forced into compulsory labor on the Danube between 1938 and 1945 and died as a result. The monument commemorates a total of 1022 people who fell, died or were missing "on the territory of the Republic of Austria", including victims of nazism and individuals persecuted by the Nazi regime, on one hand, and participants in the military resistance against nazism (e.g. partisans in Carinthia, etc.) on the other hand. Obakraj half-spheres, divided into six parts, composed of stylized human figures, are placed in two rows (8 + 13, total 42) without inscriptions.
On the way to the memorial plaque, two stone pedestals with inscriptions in Serbian-Croatian and German are placed. Designed by Miodrag Živković.
