Rectangular stone slab of gray color with embedded inscription hangs on the house where manager Franc Aichholzer (1884–1976) lived and worked.
Teacher Franc Aichholzer (1884–1976) initially taught in Kotle, where he also taught Lovro Kuhar – Prežihove Voran. Before the plebiscite (1920), he advocated for the annexation of southern Karst to SHS. He was one of the few Slovenian educators who did not leave Austrian Karst afterward but continued to lead the revival of Slovenian organizations here and became the first editor of Koroški Slovenec (1921). Only after many years of dedication, as a teacher, he was accepted into the Austrian service, but they sent him to the German part of Karst. In 1940, he was retired and sent to the concentration camp Buchenwald. After World War II, he became the manager of a people's school in Loči. He cared for the professional development of teachers and founded the school newspaper Mladi rod in 1952.
A memorial plaque was installed by the Slovenian Cultural Society Jepa-Baško jezero and the Mladi rod society in 2007.
Franc Aichholzer is buried on a cemetery in Loči.
