In this house, the Paderšič family with sons Vinko and Rudolf settled after the First World War, following the evacuation from Trieste. Vinko became politically active during his studies in Ljubljana, joined the OF in 1942, and in the summer of 1941 became a member of the Regional Committee of the OF. He organized resistance against the occupier in the villages under Gorjanca. Together with his brother and fellow fighters, he fell on 24 September 1942 in the Beceletovi cave near Zagrad near Otočec. The plaque was unveiled in 1962.
