Fourth State Conference of KSJ

In the apartment of Ana Ziherl on Trdinova Street, the fourth state conference of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia took place in 1934. Eleven delegates attended, representing organizations from Serbia, Croatia, Dalmatia, the Black Mountains, and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, which was then located abroad. They discussed the life and activities of the party during the period of renewal of its organizations and leadership, and adopted several concluding resolutions on work in trade unions, among workers in the countryside, on party press and the struggle against imperialist war. The conference decided to establish an anti-fascist front, to found the Communist Party of Slovenia and the Communist Party of Croatia, which was realized in 1937. At the conference, the Central Committee and the bureau were elected, among whom was Josip Broz - Tito. Location description: Trdinova 8. The plaque was erected at the corner on the façade of Kocho's residential building, at the intersection with Cigaletova Street. It was removed during the renovation in 1996.
