Memorial plaque of the camp of stolen children, Kastl, Germany

Taborišče Kastl pri Ambergu, ZR Nemčija, where during the Second World War a camp with stolen children from Slovenia was located in the area of the self-governed castle on the hill above the village. In it were boys aged 10 to 14 years. The memorial plaque or monument consists of two plaques. On the upper one is depicted a mother holding a child in her arms, and in the lower part is depicted a German soldier from the back, with outstretched arms trying to take the child from the mother. The creator of the sculpture and plaques was Drago Tršar.
The unveiling of the memorial monument on the building wall took place on 13 September 2014, which was mainly organized and co-financed by the Municipality of Kastl.
