On a five-meter column, which is surrounded on the upper third by a wreath of roses, stands on a multitude of human heads a crown made from a broken (overcome) grid, from which the swallows fly into freedom. In the cell remains a cross - a symbol of the crossroad of our exiles and an eternal memory to those who remained in foreign lands and whose hope of return was not fulfilled. Happy birds fly off to freedom, where they will build new and better nests.
The obelisk was made by the sculptor Rudi Stopa from Sevnice, and it was unveiled in 1988.
