BRDA-Lazarjeva domačija

This was the radio station at Srček. The fighters of the Pohorje Battalion well knew it.
Commandant Franc Rozman Stane was also reported by Lazar during the patrol in the Mislinjska Valley. His fifteen-year-old son, Franc Pogladič, learned of the daring action on those days in November 1942. Dressed in partisan uniform and carrying a wooden rifle, he frightened a woman into giving him his son's German uniform and boots. When Stane learned of the boy's heroic deed and heartfelt action, he gave him the name Srček.
Because of his courage and devotion, Srček was assigned as a security officer to the center of OZNE in Styria. At that time he was seventeen years old. As a security officer, he participated in actions from Pohorje to the Savinska Valley, Moravč, Haloz and the Slovenian Gorica. He fell above Oplotnica on the threshold of freedom on 8 May 1945, when he was still seventeen years old.

The memorial plaque was unveiled on 25 May 1985.
