        »ADLEŠIČI - On Sunday, 7th of August, there will be a traditional
meeting of interned persons and war invalids.

        The ceremony, which will start at 4 pm, will be opened by fighters and couriers from
the brotherly Croatian local communities Prilišče – Vukova gorica (who maintained the courier
association between Slovenia and Croatia during the NOB) who will unveil a sculpture of a
partisan courier, work of the sculptor Janez Krajnc; the sculpture was given to the locals of
Adlešiči by the residents of the brotherly local community Stara Ljubljana.«

»In memory of the courier route, along which during the war rural youths and men
maintained important connections between Slovene and Croatian partisan units, a monument to
the courier, work of the artist Janez Krajnc, was unveiled before the Adlešiški cultural house
which was given to the locals of Adlešiči by the inhabitants of Stara Ljubljana. Courier routes
which ran through Adlešiče and onwards along the current partisan main routes, were one of the
main links for the execution of joint actions between the main staff of NOV and PO Slovenia and
Croatia and the supreme staff of NOV and PO Yugoslavia.«
