A rectangular, bright stone plaza with an embedded inscription is dedicated to the Workers' Educational Society Vzajemnost, which operated in this house from 1937-1941. The plaque was discovered in 1979 under the patronage of "Liko Vrhnika."
In 1937 (the exact date is unknown), a workers' educational society named "Vzajemnost" was established in Borovnica. Society members arranged their spaces in the old Mavčevi cellars through voluntary labor. Initially, this society was expected to host various games and engage in cultural work. In reality, its true purpose was entirely different. Behind the facade of playing games or sports, political meetings were held where ideas by Marx, Engels, and Lenin were discussed, the domestic and global political situation was examined, and they became familiar with tasks awaiting them in the near future.
