284 cm high memorial, which was unveiled on 14.10.1962[1]
and for this purpose the ceremony of the unveiling of the memorial to the fallen took place, containing
engraved names of 10 local fallen fighters[2]
9[3] victims and a inscription in memory of an unknown Russian partisan
four fighters of the Italian Fontanot brigade, three fighters of the XV. coastal brigade and
three unknown partisans who fell in the area
Orehovice.[4] The memorial was erected by the local organisation
ZB (Union of fighters) from Orehovice and Čadraž[5], the design of which
was made by Jože Zamljen – Drejče, who also unveiled the memorial.
