TRŽAN ANTON, born in 1882 in Dobje, a peasant son. After completing a wine school in Maribor, he worked at home managing a forest. He became a trader and innkeeper. For many years he was the chairman of the granary and loan office in Dobje. After the occupation, he began collaborating with the first activists of OF. In the camp for prisoners of war near Leoben, the Gestapo arrested him within 14 days and transported him to Celje prison. After two months, he was transferred to Maribor and was shot on 2 October 1942.«
