From
April 12, 1941, to the end of the war, the Gestapo headquarters was located in Brenčič's house, and the basement
served as a prison for political prisoners, who were led for interrogations.
Memorial
plaque was installed on the proposal of the association of fighters' committee on November 29, 1954 (according to Vodnik 1955). It was made by stonemason Mrevlje from Ptuja.
