On the grassy area in front of the parish house is a granite stone with a memorial plate, stating that here
on 18.2.1945 fell the commander of the 2nd battalion of the 3rd VDV brigade, Franc Gorjanc - Bobek.
A group of German soldiers attacked the commander of the battalion, Franc Gorjanc - Bobek, at six in the evening near the parish house and killed him 30 meters away from the entrance doors.
