EŠD 21510 - memorial, place of historical event.
The memorial represents a granite monolith, whose front surface is wave-like
processed, supposedly representing a rope, with which Mlinar was tied to
the trunk of a tree, in the grooves there is an inscription. The granite monolith is
155 cm high and is the work of the sculptor Janez Lenassija. The memorial was discovered in 1979.
"RASTKOVEC (correctly Raskovec - T.B.), forest near Vrhniki.
In the German offensive of November 1943, the locals in the forest of Rastkovec near Vrhniko
captured an unknown partisan from Bračičeva brigade, who was from home on Planina near
Rakek. With the locals were also Germans. The prisoner was tied to a tree and pierced with bayonets. Witnesses report that the prisoner was tortured by the locals.
The partisans later found out that the wounds were inflicted with Italian bayonets
which the locals were using at that time."

Dostop do spomenika je enostaven tako iz Logatca kot z Vrhnike. Držimo se širših voznih gozdnih poti, ki iz smeri Logatca ali Vrhnike peljejo proti Zavrhu pri Borovnici oz. proti Pokojišču. Paziti moramo na kažipote.
