BREZJE near Dobrova - Partizanski Dom na Ključu

In 1979 (22th of July) was built the Partizanski dom in memory of all fighters and activists of the Dolomitski odred. In it is arranged a memorial room, and on it is attached a plaque with an inscription.

"Opening of the Partizanski dom on Ključ (near Dobrava) - built with funds from SO Ljubljana - Vič, OZD and the invaluable work of the inhabitants of Brezij, Dobrova and other Dolomitski areas, was attended by not only the inhabitants and youth, but also 220 still living fighters of the Dolomitski odred. The building was handed over to the purpose by the president of CK ZKS France Popit, who at the same time unveiled the memorial plaque to the fallen fighters of the Dolomitski odred, and the ceremonial speaker was Stane Vrhovec, president of ZZB NOV viške občine."

On 22nd of June 2019, a movable visual heritage, which was located in the lower part of the Partizanski dom on Ključ, on seven wooden and two glass panes, together with an object - a mitraljez of the Breda brand, was transferred in agreement of all relevant parties (ministry, municipalities, Associations of fighters) due to safety and to prevent the damage of only these, to the premises of the Association of fighters for values NOB Logatec, which are in the Centre for Protection and Rescue in Logatec. There they will repair the damaged objects and display them as a permanent exhibition in memory of the activities of the Dolomitski odred in the years 1942 - 1945.

The memorial plaque, which was erected on the façade of the Partizanski dom on Ključ, remains in its place.
