From the ranks of the PGD Godešič fire department, ten members fell between the years 1941 and 1945.

Fallen firefighters:
Andrej Bertoncelj, born in 1898, was shot by partisans in July 1943.
Janez Drnovšek, born on August 18, 1900 in Reteč, farmer, was shot on January 9, 1945 at home.
Franc Habjan, born on October 21, 1919, mill assistant, joined the partisans on February 13, 1943, and fell on August 15, 1943 near Brezovica near Borovnica.
Jože Habjan, born in 1921, fell in 1944 as a German soldier.
Martin Kavčič, born in 1924, fell in April 1944 as a German soldier.
Franc Križnar, born on September 28, 1914 in Godešič, keymaker assistant, joined the partisans on December 15, 1941, and fell on September 21, 1942 on Poljska Planina under Stol.
Matevž Križnar, born on September 25, 1918 in Godešič, mizarski assistant, joined the partisans on May 3, 1943, and fell on September 9, 1943 in Ribnica on Dolenjsko.
Nikolaj Luskovec, born on November 28, 1915 in Godešič, keymaker assistant, joined the partisans on February 19, 1943, and fell on January 27, 1944 near Cerknica.
Stanislav Luskovec, born on May 7, 1914 in Godešič, factory worker, joined the partisans on February 28, 1944, was captured on July 6, 1944, and died on May 3, 1945 in Mauthausen.
Dominik Volčič, born in 1925, is missing as a home guard since 1945.
