Cenetu Štuparju

In the period of party renewal, Cene Štupar also established a party organization at the Eifler factory (today Krka-kozmetika), where he was employed, at the beginning of 1936. Štupar was the ideological leader of the party and connected most workers to the unified syndicalist movement—General Workers' Trade Union of Slovenia. This unity was reflected in the large strike of textile workers in 1936, which besides the Eifler factory also included the textile factory in Vižmarje (Beer-Hribernik) and the Stora factory in Gameljne. A commemorative plaque with the names of 17 workers who fell in the NOB was erected at the factory. Among them is the name of Ceneta Štupar and the national heroine Rezka Dragar. A commemorative plaque to Ceneta Štupar is also on his birth house, Cesta Ceneta Štuparja, formerly number 49, today number 108, unveiled on 24 July 1955.

A plaque of 40 by 60 cm was also unveiled at the residential house where the original pioneer Cene Stupar, with the following text: 

'Stupar Ceneta — Matjaž

In this house was born and left for the NOB revolutionary pioneer Stupar Cene — Matjaž 1910—1944.' The plaque was unveiled on 24 June 1955 according to the plan of Prof. Miroslav Rav[bar]j.«
