At the meeting of OF activists from Grosuplje and Novo mesto districts, on 2nd and 3rd October 1944, the districts were united in the Novo mesto district. The 54-member district National Liberation Committee of Novo mesto and the 42-member plenum of OF Novo mesto district were elected.
The plaque was unveiled on 4th October 1986.
