DESCRIPTION OF THE MEMORIAL: Made from natural marble, it stands on a concrete base.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: Franc Kalan fell under the fire of the enemy, while rescuing severely wounded comrade Zorman.
Originally, it was a wooden plaque, unveiled on 20th September 1952. It was made and equipped by the carpenter master Ivan Čemažar from Form. The current version was unveiled on 27th May 1982.
