Brestanica, Memorial to the NOB and the Exiles

Monument, erected in 1962 according to the design of architect Boris Kobet at the base of the Brestanec castle, commemorates the difficult days of displacement and deportation of Slovenes. It illustrates the weight of the burden that our exiles and prisoners had to carry during the years 1941 - 1945.
