DESCRIPTION PLATE: Bronze plate with an embossed inscription.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: The words on the plate speak of a great tragedy. Due to
a partisan action on the road above the settlement, enraged Germans, in a
helpless heart, killed also the master of the house Teran and five more workers
with axes. The house was restored after the liberation. Here lived Peter Teran.
The memorial plate was made by the foundry of Železarne Jesenice, and was
erected by the local committee of ZB NOV Podbrezje on 26th July 1962 – on the
20th anniversary of the tragedy.
