A rectangular dark granite slab with roughly finished sides, 70 cm in width and 53 cm in height, with a 6 cm wide, 17 cm long and 10 cm high pedestal on the underside, finely shaped from below, with an engraved white inscription, unveiled in 1963, is mounted on the eastern façade of the house, in which were born the national hero Alojz Popek-Vandek and his brother, the first martyr Tone Popek-Maks.

The bronze relief sculpture of Milka Popek (1922–1974), carrier of the partisan memorial from 1941, on a high square base made of concrete with a metallic inscription – Milka (only part of the letters are preserved). The monument was erected in the mid-1970s, the sculpture is the work of Stojan Batič. The sculpture was moved to a new location on the road. Before the house, on the left side of the entrance, the remains of the surface arrangement with the sculpture are visible, consisting of several arranged areas, limited by concrete walls and iron fencing.

Textual location description
Plošča je vzidana ob vhodu na zahodni fasadi hiše Bezuljak 40. Kip je stal pred hišo Bezuljak 40, v kateri se je rodila Milka Popek, zdaj stoji blizu križišča in avtobusnega postajališča. Po cesti skozi Bezuljak desno proti cerkvi s pokopališčem se takoj levo vidi pot levo v hrib in s tem do rojstne hiše.
