Encircled by Germans, the lovers Bine Mlakar and Bedrnarda Tavčar (Kosmova)
were killed on 18. 1. 1943 between Dolenji Brdo and Lovski Brdo by grenade and were buried together. According to the testimony of the photographer and director Toneta Mlakar, Bine's brother, RTV SLO 9. 5. 2021. On the grave it reads only Kosmovi, Tone wanted to pay for an appropriate inscription, but he died before he could agree on it for her.
