Memorial plaque of the camp of stolen children, Himmelberg, Germany

The children's shelter for stolen children was located on the hill between the villages of Metten and Neuhausen/Offenberg, partly in a small monastic building and partly in two wooden barracks. In it were boys aged 6 to 10 years old. The memorial plaque is located on the monastic building at the entrance to the area. The unveiling of the memorial plaque took place on 17 October 2014, mainly organized and co-financed by the leadership of the regional monastery Metten and the municipalities of Metten and Offenberg.
