DESCRIPTION OF THE MONUMENT: Memorial plaque made of grey marble, erected on the façade of the house in which Valentin Gregorič lived after his settlement in Kranj. The inscription is carved and red-colored.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: The shot Valentin Gregorič was a member of the KP since 1933, specifically in Lazah near Ljubljana. He began working for the OF immediately after the summer of 1941. Due to the denounced political meetings held at his home, Gregorič was arrested on January 24, 1944, taken to Begunje and shot as a partisan in a group that fell at Šentvid above Ljubljana.
The memorial plaque was unveiled on the current town's anniversary on August 1, 1953.
