Čegeljše

Nine people were shot on 8. 7. 1942 as retaliation for the attack on the Kokrški odred on the market town traitor Petar Strupič, the day before. The traitor was wounded. The families of the executed were expelled by the Germans. It was discovered by ZB NOV Tržič on 29. 11. 1950.

The plan was made by Miha Kurnih, executed by Kamnoseštvo Kranj (or perhaps Hotavlje).

Albin Purgar (11. 3. 1911 Pristava) was employed by Ivan Hrovat, Ernest Našič (17. 4. 1882 Novo mesto) by Alojz Štefet, Stanko (23. 9. 1921 Tržič) and Daniel Našič (20. 7. 1926 Tržič), Marjan Patarič (5. 8. 1905 Vodženci), Janez Jagodic (4. 1. 1901 Tržič) in Peku, Andrej Mokorel (27. 11. 1882 Tržič) and Vladimir Knific (1. 6. 1920 Tržič) in Predilnica Tržič, and Anton Janežič (20. 10. 1918 Turjak) in Run.

In 2012, on a meeting of ZB, they reported on the problem of arranging the area and the ambiguity regarding the placement of the monument.
