Memorial Plate to Anton Štrancar, who as a conscious and resolute Primorec spoke at a anti-fascist gathering in Ajdovščina on 30th March 1924. At the crossroads in Šturje, where a monument to him was later erected, he was waiting under a tree when a fascist from Gorica approached him with a gun and shot him from close range. He died in the hospital for the suffering brothers in Gorica, enduring severe suffering and pain until 22nd May of the same year. Members of the TIGR Primorske organization erected a monument to him, which commemorates the suffering of the Primorski people and shows that his work and sacrifice have not been forgotten.
