Gabrje, Memorial in the Village

Obelisk made of white stone has a five-pointed star at the top. In the wider lower part are the names (a total of 50) of fallen partisans and victims of fascism from Gaberij and surrounding villages. It was erected on 17 November 1946 by Franc Zagorc (link).
In 2019 the centre of the village was renovated. The monument was slightly moved and restored. (Photo 1, 3, 4 M. Kermavnar 24.1.2020.)
